Former quarterback Tom Brady once again teases fans to a contradictory convo as he told media about his retirement, but later gives hints that he will be returning. However, recently, fans were more reassured on Sunday by an NFL insider Mike Florio who is confident that Brady will come back next season to play with the San Fransisco 49ers.

Tom Brady played in the NFL for 22 seasons. The California-born player spent his first 20 seasons with the New England Patriots, where he was honored by being the major contributor to the franchise’s dynasty from 2001 to 2019.
In his final two seasons, he was a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and is widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time. On February 1, he officially announced that he would retire and posted a statement to both his Instagram and Twitter accounts.
The seven-time Super Bowl champion discussed his post-retirement when brought on Let’s Go! podcast with co-host Jim Gray on February 7. Obviously, many people felt the loss of his departure from the league.
“It was quite the ride. Thank you and congratulations, @TomBrady,” the New England Patriots wrote on Twitter.
However, Brady himself has been spilling hints with “never say never” about his return to NFL.
“I’m just going to take things as they come,” the 44-year-old said. “You never say never. At the same time, I feel very good about my decision.”
The statement was further claimed by Mike Florio who is confident about Brady’s return. Another added the claim by Rob Gronkowski who is a long-time teammate and friend and suggests to media that the three-time NFL MVP will most definitely come back in a year or two.
Florio is assured that the NFL player who is “not going to lower himself like Aaron Rodgers” is coming back in 2022, saying “it’s unavoidable”.
He thinks Brady will start as the QB for the San Francisco 49ers. “I got a great email,” Florio said. “I don’t know that the person wants his name to be shared, but it’s explaining what’s going on with Tom Brady. Classic mid-life crisis. Step 1, a divorce from the Patriots. Step 2, a short-term relationship with a trophy girl, the Buccaneers. Step 3, a late-night text to the high school sweetheart, a.k.a the 49ers.”

Reason for Brady’s return
According to history, Brady has been an admirer of Joe Montana and the 49ers since his childhood. Growing up in the Bay area, the five-time Super Bowl MVP once hoped to be a quarterback for San Francisco. With his return, he will finally get to live out and complete his childhood dream.
While a move like this could not be harmful for the organization, it could alter plans for the 21-year-old rookie QB Trey Lance to play in the starter. Lance’s tenure could be delayed if Brady was to officially return to play with the Niners.
Some important calls will need to be made in the future. For now, it remains vague while Brady’s return official statement is awaited.
